Welcome to ICDC

We are a not-for-profit, Reggio Emilia inspired Child Development Centre. Our goal is to provide high quality, affordable childcare, that is both supportive and enriching for children, families, early childhood professionals and our Calgary community.

We pride ourselves on making learning visible. We use the Himama communication system to keep our families up to date and informed about all that goes on in their child’s day here. This system also allows us to provide visual documentation to families. We have an Atelier (art studio) where the children can create, learn and develop using a variety of mediums. We believe children to be competent learners. This is a space for them to excel.  Select the Documentation Gallery to see samples of what goes on in the Atelier.

We were one of the original centres in the city to become accredited and have maintained our accreditation for over 10 years.
